Series DPT-MOD Differential Pressure Transmitter Monitors DP and gives Modbus output

The Series DPT-MOD Differential Pressure Transmitter is an extremely versatile transmitter for monitoring pressure. The transmitter for air conforms to MODBUS over serial line protocol, using RTU transmission mode and RS485 interface. The digital output signal is sent over MODBUS enabling the DPT-MOD to connect directly to field communication network. the benefit of DPT-MOD is that it requires less wiring than traditional 3-wire transmitters, since multiple devices can be connected on serial line.

The DPT-MOD includes an Input terminal that enables reading of multiple other signals such as temperature or control relays over MODBUS. The input terminal has two input channels designed to accept 0-10 V, ntc10k, Pt1000, Ni1000 (-LG) and BIN IN (potential free contact) signals.

Series DPT-R8-3W Differential Pressure Transmitter Monitors Pressure
The Series DPT-R8-3W Differential Pressure Transmitter is an extremely versatile transmitter for monitoring pressure. The compact package is loaded with features such as 8 selectable ranges, 2 selectable outputs, optional display and optional Auto-Zero feature which electronically adjusts the transmitter zero at predetermined time intervals (every 10 minutes). The Auto-Zero adjustment takes 4 seconds.

The AZ calibration eliminates all output signal drift due to thermal, electronic or mechanical effects. Optional display and Auto-Zero feature available.

Note! Supply voltage must be connected one hour before the 0-point adjustment is carried out.

  • Loose both tubes from the pressure inlets + and -
  • Push zero button until the red led turns ON.
  • Wait until LED turns off and then install tubes again to the pressure inlets.

It is recommended to adjust the zero point every 12 months during normal operation.

If the transmitter is equipped with automatic zero element the manual push button adjustment is not required.

AZ-calibration is a function in the form of an automatic zeroing circuit built into the PCB. The AZ-calibration electronically adjusts the transmitter zero at predetermined time intervals (every 10 minutes). The AZ-calibration eliminates all output signal drift due to thermal, electronic or mechanical effects, as well as the need for technicians to remove high and low pressure tubes when performing initial or periodic transmitter zero point calibration.

The AZ adjustment takes 4 seconds. To avoid conflict with the BAS system, the output and display values will freeze to the latest measured value, after which the device returns to its normal measuring mode. Transmitters equipped with the AZ-calibration are virtually maintenance free.
